I have been busy with a wide variety of things, and landed a new client, so trying to get back into a ‘normal’ schedule.

The webOS learning curve has been too steep lately and it really shouldn’t be. Mainly was due to my having to work on a system running XP and 512MB of RAM.  Fortunately I got someone to loan me the $95 to upgrade this older system to 2GB so things seem to be flying now (although it has only been a few hours with the memory upgrade.)  Crucial memory rocks… I like their site, support and service.  Was expecting the memory tomorrow, so it was nice to get it a day early!

Also up in the air is the idea of do I write Palm webOS apps or go after HTML5?

Right now I think I better at least get one or two simple apps out under webOS before deciding if I move on.

Oh, a couple more things…

I installed WPTouch for the site so it should look better and easier to use on portable devices such as Palm Pre, Palm Pixi, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android-based devices.  If you prefer the old layout, there is a ’switch’ at the bottom of the page to turn off the ‘mobile version.’  If you have problems with it, please let me know.

Another thing, for those running Flash capable browsers is the addition of the Grooveshark plug-in. Grooveshark is what Lala should have been. It also gives a good run against sites like Pandora or Slacker (although those do work on virtually all popular web enabled devices and Grooveshark still needs Flash as of this writing.)  Looking for a song for a tweet? Check out their TinySong Song Finder and Short URL service.

Well, enough for this post (rambling on a bunch of various topics) =P
